We collect contact information such as your name, your email address, your telephone number and physical address.
Comments and opinions:
When you contact us directly, e.g. by email, phone (we don’t record phone conversations), post or by completing an online form we will record your comments and opinions. Your testimonials may appear on our website and/or Facebook. Payment and transaction information: We keep records of the goods we supply to you. These are kept in two ways; your digital records are kept on Cloud database of Brightpearl, which is password and pin protected and paper contact forms and legally required documents which are kept in a locked drawer in safe warehouse. Furthermore, BFG Rattan Furniture Ltd uses, which is a customer, ordering and quotation database. It is a fully protected and secured cloud-based software, which is accessed from the secure PC. Your transaction information is also kept on our accounts package, Sage. Sage is installed on another PC and is pin and password protected. It is regularly backed up and sent to our registered Chartered Accountants , so they may process VAT and tax returns. Although we keep records of your transactions, we do not store any financial details. We do not store or use marketing preferences on our website. Information provided by other users: We do not obtain information about you via third parties. All information we hold, is provided voluntarily by you.
Outsourcing Call Centre Data
We have call centre location in the UK and our staff is fully trained for all necessary GDPR training and how to handle your data. All the data processed in call centre is securely stored onto our Cloud based system and at no time there is any recording / storage of any data held in call centre in India.
How we use your personal information, and what our legal basis is for this use We process your personal information for the following purposes: To fulfil a contract This is relevant when you order goods through us. This includes: a) Processing your payments. b) Communicating with you about the supply and about queries, issues or concerns you may have. c) Providing customer service and support As required to conduct our business effectively and pursue our legitimate interests. Only 3rd parties we provide your information is If you are using XDP Delivery, Parcelforce, Palletways, Royal Mail & eLogistix to Deliver the goods we are supplying, your surname, address the name of the town you live in written on delivery labels according to the requirements of individual companies. This is so your items can be delivered. Members of the public do not have access to the office and all the delivery companies have their own privacy policy in place.
Information we share with third parties
We may share your surname and address with suppliers when goods are delivered directly to you. You can request that we notify you when this is necessary.
Marketing and Advertising
We do not use your personal information for marketing and advertisement, we may share your feedback on our website and/or company Facebook page. No personal information about you or your home is used or shared.
Storing and transferring your personal information

Your information is secured in a locked cupboard and then archived and stored in a locked cupboard or on our Cloud storage systems for the required 6 years.
